I remember you singing "Blackbird" at a Carlsbad High School assembly in about 1970. ( I am a '71 grad). It always kinda stuck with me and I thought of it when they played it on Glee last night. You were amazing then and looks like you are doing great with your music and life. Hope this is the right person, by the way!
Things are about the same here in Carlsbad.

I'm in a hotel room in Columbus Ohio of all places,and listening to your voice on a nice laptop sound system. And your brilliant writing. I don't think I'll ever be happy until something amazingly worshipful and planetariumish comes out of "Closer than a Heartbeat" which remains my favorite song of all time. So classy, so focused, so wonderful. When I think of you, I think of that black and white picture of your family when you were just a kid, and I think, "How could she not have become who she is?" Here's to some years ahead before we leave the planet where we have a real opportunity to work together in a real way. Not there yet, but it's starting to resurface. You are a wonderful woman. Your husband isn't so bad either. Lots of love to you both and those beautiful girls.
